Spring 2019 Shop Window
Ah it's so lovely to come out of the gloomy winter period right?
I don't get that much time to work on the shop, or even be in it for any amount of time these days. Luckily we have a really lovely lady working for us behind the counter...she is the best find ever, thanks Jan!
When I do get to visit the shop it's normally just to pick up and drop of things to-ing and fro-ing to London with me. I usually take photos of jewellery on Mondays before going to London the next day but it's not easy to do with my toddler son in tow as I'm a single mum now for four days of the week, but he is very good and he knows the drill.
So it was a bit overdue to refresh the shop for the new season...I bought these dried flowers from my favourite shop in London Botanique, I'm a big fan of Alice and her beautiful style, she has a few shops around London now but her Exmouth Market shop is local to me in Hatton Garden studio, and in a lovely street with nice cafes.
...anyway, I had this idea and after a bit of sewing with needle and thread, I did actually manage to hang up all the flowers in the window.
I hope to paint the outside of the shop soon too, to match the new colour and logo packaging that we will have coming soon (massive delay on this!)...I'm looking forward to it as I think it will look great and a bit more in keeping with our merk.
By the way, if you are rencana to visit us on the Isle of Wight and are looking for things to do this summer, you can check out my blog posts about the Island HERE
...and, I will hopefully compile a list of nice places to stay and eat, as well as my favourite beaches on the Island, before the summer...don't hold me to it though I have to try them all first.
